Eve Beck is a director for theatre and screen.

Known for her innovative work that delves into contemporary feminism, politics, and class inequities in Australia. Her diverse directorial repertoire includes the creation and direction of plays, opera, documentary theatre, and dance.

Eve holds a Masters of Directing from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts and a Bachelor of Communications (Theatre/Media) from Charles Sturt University. She has directed numerous productions through her company, Bite Productions, at venues including Belvoir 25a, NIDA, Theatreworks, and KXT. She has also worked as an assistant director with Sydney Theatre Company, Pinchgut Opera, NIDA, and ATYP. Her screen credits feature the award-winning short film Confidant, the music video No Weapon, and script supervision on The Formal Series.

In 2020, Eve was shortlisted for the Rose Byrne Female Leadership Scholarship, and in 2023 was the Griffin Theatre Company and Create NSW Incubator Fellow.

In 2024, Eve is in development on several independent projects and has been appointed Resident Director for CIRCA, which will see her working across Sydney, Brisbane, the US, and Europe.
